ok, im 18 and have never had a boyfriend before... there is this guy at my work who ive been hanging out with and talking to a lot lately and i think i might be starting to really really like him. my question is, how do i persue a relationship with someone. i dont know what to do, and im scared, so im not just gonna jump all over him or somthing. i just need some simple hints to make him realize that i really do like him a lot.

ahhh ...welcome to the dance :o)... have you known him long? if not... take your time...learn about him... anyone can be someone else for 3 months, eventually they become themselves and you'll know. If you've known him longer than that and he's an honest genuine fella, and you want to be subtle... initiate a little physical contact. sit closer to him... if you really really like him then he knows already (unless he's a complete boob). all that's left is to ask him how he feels about you. Sure you're heart will be pounding in your ears, your hands will be all sweaty and your exposing your heart ... those are the moments worth living...regardless of how it turns out. remember and relish that day...It's the day you decided to live life and participate in the life of someone else

A firm rule: Don't date anyone you work with.
If it does not last then you are faced with him daily. Right now, its sweet and the possibilities are endless. lol
As far as dating, step out in faith. Put yourself out there. You will get a few nos, but so what. You will get a few yes. And thats what you want. Just enjoy each friendship for what it is worth. Don't complicate the friendship until you know you both are ready for more.

talk to him more often, be more friendly, (not too much, you dont wanna send the wrong message.) smile at him in a way that will make him wonder if it meant something. drop little hints like this and eventually, if he's interested he'll approach you or start flirting with you. i dont say to go for it and ask him out because it doesnt sound like your personality, and since it wont come naturally for you, it might make you look desperate.
