My mother says women loose there looks once they pass the age of 45 or so. I feel very depressed to hear this and would like some male reaction to see if her opinion is generally held. It seems to me women find men more attractive once they are sporting a few grey hairs, but does it work both ways?

Your mother is absolutely WRONG! How dare she say such a thing! Where does she get off saying that a woman completely loses all her appeal and sensuality by the age of 45 ........... when everybody knows they lose it WAY before that!

I personally find certain women over 50 to be very attractive!! The woman must obviously take care of herself, and have confidence in her looks and a positive attitude, but most definitely, there are LOTS of women over 50 that are very good looking and attractive!! Not to mention the experience that one can have with a woman of that age!! WOW!!

Let me put it to you this way, when i was 25 i couldn't imagine having sex with a 40 y/o woman but when i got to be 40 i wanted many 40 year old women. And at 40 I couldn't imagine sex with a 50 y/o woman but now that I am 50 I know plenty of 50 y/o women i would love to have so do you get my point.

It all depends on the guy. Most men are are beauty bigots anyway. Some women are truly hot at any age , Lauren Hutton or Sophia Loren still rock. Beside that, it's important to remember that men are attracted to anything that can walk or crawl. My GF says we're all dogs anyway.

Generally, your Mom is right.
If you are still single at the age of 45, you're likely to remain so. There are a few exceptions if you are fit, energetic and have good skin.

I find some older women very attractive. There is this one woman (52 years old) that I know that looks 20 years younger. An absolute knockout.

Speaking as a guy, it depends on the woman. Some are attractive no matter their age. Some women get more attractive as they age (to a point).

your mom could not be anymore incorrect about this. Older women in my opinion have an attractiveness that is nique to them. I think it all depends upon how each person feels inside about themselves because thats what they will put out there. There is also a double standard with men and women but we all know about that--right? Hey listen--be yourself--take care of yourself in all ways! blessings
