If you do successfully marry this guy, make sure he stays in the country while you are filing his papers for permanent residency. If he remains in the country, it is much better. Also, if after you marry he goes back home for a while, being married doesn't guarantee that he'll get back in the country. He could be denied and have to stay in his home country until he is granted residency; which can take years. You also have to prove that you are able to take care of him financially until he gets him papers so make sure you have a stable job.

And fyi, it's always best though to do things the right way.......especially when dealing with the government. I know you love him and want to marry as quick and you can without waiting for the proper papers but in the long run it could bite you in the asss. Make sure before you go to all this trouble that your relationship is strong and definite.

as soon as you get married, well if you are getting married at the court house. immeditely they give you a certificied copy of your marriage licensefor an additional fee. if you go just to get your marriage license at the court but someone else marries you, it takes about 4 to 6 weeks for the courts to resend you the marriage license certified and accounted for. once you get that, i would advise you to wait at least 4 to 6 months to apply for immigration (residence status) for your partner. if you do it right away, immigrations might think there is an alternative motive which you are applying right away.

What should you do?

You should report him to ICE and he should be deported.

You should then be arrested for aiding and abetting.
