Yes It will hurt just like a regular tattoo. You're tattoo artist will shave the area before going ahead with the tattoo. You must also consider the after care for the tattoo..seing as you want as little irritation as possible, and i'm guessing either your underwear or jeans will be irritating it. Think about it, you'll make the right choice..just remember that the more iritation, the more morphed the tattoo will heal.

there shouldn't be any problems with it. the most important thing is to pick an artist that is talented because... well who wants an ugly pubic tattoo? you'd have to have all of the surrounding hair shaved. i'm sure the tattoo would hurt quite a bit. i can't say for sure because i have no experience being tattooed there but tattoos in general hurt. also be sure to follow the tattooers aftercare instructions closely it would be an awful thing to get some kind of infection down there. good luck!

sure you could get it, there wouldnt be any health problems....it would hurt more because its in such a sensitive spot
