Does the government not remember the congressman killed in Guyanna by the Evangelical Jim Jones?. Are the Christians that believe in this faith healing stuff just retarded? You do know its fake right? Just like speaking in tongues.

before jim jones was a religious zealot, he was a door to door monkey salesman.

that has nothing to do with your question, other than to maybe show a nutjob's path to... nutjobbity. but I always thought that was interesting.

First, your point is well received. Faith healing is fake, speaking in tongues is fake, modern prophesy is fake. Benny Hinn is a fraud, and preys on his followers.

However, until Benny Hinn actually breaks the law, he is entitled to what he does. The same goes for his idiotic followers. The followers of Jim Jones drank the Kool Aid on purpose - no one forced them.

Even in the Bible, there are accounts of faith healing actually failing. There are actually at least, eight accounts. Seeing as the Bible documents less accounts of successul healing by faith, it puzzles me as to why people like Benny Hinn should believe in faith healing when his oh so precious Holy Text proves that it doesn't work.

Yes it's fake, Benny Hinn was set u[ by some bigwig, I so not remember the name, but he set him up so he could show people how he could heal people, Benny refused ,saying he couldn't do it. Could just do it when he was on stage.

No, they don't know that, and that is the crux of the problem.
Many of them actually think this B.S. is real.
And then they wonder why people consider them ill-educated morons and won't hire them?
(I for one will instantly shred any resume that states church or any such religious acitvity when hiring for my company).
