I know how to cook a peach cobbler with the 28oz can of peaches, but I only have a 15oz can to use now. I really want to cook one, but I don't really know how to half the ingredients. Or whould I have to half the ingredients? Normally, I would use a stick of butter, cup of sugar, 3/4 cup of milk, 3/4 cup of self rising flour, and a few drops of vanilla extract. Does anything need to change b/c of the size of the can of peaches I have? Please help!!!

You cannot use the same amount of other ingredients.....the cobbler would be very dry....because of 1/2 the amount of juice from the peaches....just cut everything else in half....
1/2 stick butter.....1/2 c sugar........1/4c + 1/8c milk........1/4c + 1/8c flour.....1/4 tsp vanilla haven't made one in awhile....home on sick leave....this sounds yummy....think I would enjoy one!!! Thanks 1/4c + 1/8c=3/8....but I don't have measuring cup for that one.....

If you only have a smaller can of peaches the only thing that would be different would be the amount of fruit in your cobbler.

I don't think I would cut it in half. I probably would not cut it more than about a quarter.
