I have very thin baby fine hair, and over the summer I was conditioning my whole head with Herbal Essences Conditioner, I never used to do that., I just used to do the ends. Well, in the fall starting in September, I went through a major shed for just over 3 months, and now my hair just seems so thin now. I don't know if it's from conditioning it, or the major shed? I'm just wondering when all of this new hair is going to start growing in? Or maybe from just conditioning it so much it made it alot thnnner?

over conditioning won't make it thinner but it will weigh it down, try a light conditioner, as for the shedding that's normal especially in the fall to winter months when it gets cold, cold weather will also slow down the growing process, give it a little time, but if the problem persists, go to a stylist or a physician

Conditioning your hair should have no effect on its growth at all. And it certainly shouldn't make it fall out. I think you may have something systemic (whole body) going on. Have you changed your diet recently? Perhaps a good thorough physical exam is in order.
