It depends on my intuition about the psychic. If I feel that he/ she is genuine, I usually believe them.

What they say is usually true, and if you observe, most of them can tell you your past perfectly, but future predictions are usually a bit shaky. This is because the future is not fixed, and if something bad is being predicted, you can always change it, depending on the time frame and the seriousness.

Sometimes. A good psychic should be able to correctly give your names of people you are close to.

You can't live your life based on what a psychic tells you. Visit one for entertainment and fun but don't revolve your life around their predictions. Even the legitimate and best ones are only right about 80 percent of the time.

There seems no causal chain that would allow psychic capabilities. However, parapsychology and psionics are both fringe proto/pseudo-sciences. I'm willing to hold off judgement and give them a chance to try to come up with something substantiating before I dismiss them. Many proto and pseudo sciences lead to significant and important discoveries.

frauds, for example a psychic reading place closed here near downtown, how come they could not predict that thier business was about to go under, or predict that perhaps this would not be the best spot to locate it.
