Actually most scholars think that the bible was written down with in the lifetime of the witnesses and if you read Luke it shows that he was very careful to document the information correctly. Some of the information that is there suggests that he was actually getting it from Mary Jesus's mother or a close relationship.
None of the books of the New Testament include the Roman destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem that happened in 70AD. The letters from Paul would have ended at his death in Rome around 63 AD. So that is less than 30 years after Jesus death that most of these boooks of the BIble existed. The historians Josephus (Jewish) and Pliny Jr (Roman) both provide extra-biblical sources also.
No was for the accuracy there are hundreds of copies of the originals (thousands if you want to include those before the first official bound together version in around 380 AD) from many separate sources that can be compared and reviewed for differences. That is why in some Bibles you will see [] around texts or * that at the bottoms say this is not found in some of the older texts. Scribes were very careful to copy and correct errors but mistakes were made and by comparing the same book from different locations the errors removed.
For the old testament the Qumran scrolls have revealed many old copies of the books of the old testament and found they are identical with later versions that we use to translate the current Old testament.

That would be a VERY short game of "Telephone", dear. Matthew was there. No transmission error. His Gospel was at the most, 40 years after the Resurrection. John Mark was there. No "telephone" game there....he saw it. And only 30 years had passed before the first manuscripts (at least the ones we have found so far) were written. Luke heard his story from John Mark or Peter...a telephone game of two people....making your point moot. And St. John's gospel was last, but still completed before the date of 95-96 A.D. Since John was a young man and the youngest of the Apostles, he wrote it himself as an old man. No telephone game there, either.
Your premise is false. Please think things through before you try again.

Yeah I guess some of the stories could have been disfigured... I don't believe them in the first place though.

I agree with Father K.
No since me typing the same as he did.
I will add, the line game is just that a game. If you were confronted with God. I doubt you would ever forget a single detail.
Do you have kids??? I remember everything about their birth.
Think about this if you will, all but one of the 12 died a horrific death for their teachings of Christ. If they would had said any of it was not true... if would have saved their lives. yet all chose to die for their believe in Christ.
What would you die for?

We played that game. My teacher called it the "telephone game" or something like that. But, as far as your question goes...It's very likely. Because, If I can recall, playing the game the teacher told the first girl "It's a nice day we are having." And it ended up with something crazy like "I'm going to pay to get pregnant." So, yeah...

Play this game: One person writes down something, then passes it to the next, then that person passes it to the next, and so on. Does the story on the paper change just because it was passed down a line. The bible wasn't spoke, it was written down.

The Bible was written over a span of 1500 years by 40 different authors - yet presents a unified message.
No. There's no dilution nor corruption.

and the Bible has been changed by corrupt people who purposely changed it to fit their own personal beliefs.
