Well I've never heard of Jade Goody, but I'm sure that if you feel let down by her, then there are more people with the same feelings.

Well she has let herself down but there appears to be many who agree with her. A word to rationalist999 above me......Britain has a multi cultural society due to the fact that they invaded so many countries during the days of the empire. You are now reaping the extra benefits apart from the wealth of the invaded country.

Well, given that if I did something stupid while in England or on TV, people would immediately call me on it while referring to MY country of origin, yes, I think it's only fair that people say she is representing HER country. Other countries than Britain can watch BB, and certainly other nationalities are participating. Yes, many people are going to look at her and think bad things about English girls, and that's her fault. But then, BB was always a bad idea.

She's merely SAID what most people are now too frightened to say. I doubt that many people actively WANT a multi-racial society, it's just that the government foisted one off on us then made it illegal to dissent. There probably wouldn't be a problem if people coming to Britain "wanted" to become Britiah ladies and gentlemen. They'd have to leave the culture of foreign parts behind them and adopt the British way of life. Tough! That's what we have to do when we want to live in their countries.

She does let us down but I don't think she is a fair representation of the English, the vast majority are neither ignorant or racist.
