For 2 years my family has went to a certain Church, and there were some issues there, but now looking back they aren't as important as we thought. We started a new one 2 months ago, and the more we go, the less we like it. Every time we make the decision to go back to the old one, something from the new one comes up. For example our old Pastor called and left a message, then the new Pastor's wife called and and left a message after that. I thought God was telling us something. Then last night my husband went to the old one because he was really missing it and wanted to make sure they would be accepting of us coming back and so we decided to go back for good. Then this morning I get a message from the new Church that there is an event that they would like us to join in on this Sunday after Church!!! We have been reading the Bible and praying but haven't felt strongly either way where God wants us. We want to do His will, but this is sssssssooooooooo hard.. PLEASE HELP!!

We as Christians have the Holy Spirit to guide us. If you are not growing at this church and if it has some things that really bother you, go somewhere else. Find a church in the telephone book that lines up with your beliefs and visit on a Sunday. If its the right one , the Holy Spirit will bear witness with your spirit and you will know. Try to leave the other without hard feelings.

It's not about what the pastor or his wife want you to do or even where you feel the most comfortable. Sometimes where our comfort is challenged is just where we need to be. Go to the church where you are being fed God's word best. Go to the teaching church. Which church has the vision that our job as Christians is to spread God's word and actually serve each other? That's where you need to be.
