Breaking up because of this?

So I had been dating this guy that lives in New York. He went to Italy for a week and I was talking to him on the computer for a few minutes and things seemed good. Tehn a little while later (while I had been away from the computer), he said this to me (on AIM): "we have to break up. Don't text me cuz it costs money and I won't answer."
then he signed off.

Like a day or 2 later he says that the reason was is: "you never call me ok"

Is is silly to break up over this? I didn't break up with him when he said that he wanted a baby soon...and asked me "why don't you want a child now?" ...."No one will care if you're pregnant in college."

Other times he's said stuff like: "so, when do you want a baby?"

So, I was able to talk with him on the phone last night. He said he wants to be just friends because...He only has his learner's permit and his parent's won't drive him 7 hours to see me here in PA (Where I live). I can't drive due to my vision problem. He won't take a train b/c he's afraid something will happen to him, so there's no way I can convince him otherwise. I think his parents are overprotective of him b/c he has a form of Autism.

What do I do??? I want to be with him as more than friends!!!

That is a silly reason to break up with some one. Your better of with out him.

okay well, he feels that you don't really care about him. My guyfriend is going out with my best friend. he was the one to call her. he told that he was upset that she hasn't called him. i told him (your supposed to call her, your the guy) he was like oh well that just goes to show how much she really cares about me. they want to feel appreciated in ways like that. sure you may think its immature but think about it. If you guys are going in the direction of a baby you have to show your feelings for each other. But he should at least let you talk to him. Then maybe you guys could work things out. show how much you love him. remember feeling loved is when you feel so happy on the inside that it glows on the outside. do you think that you boyfriend saw that glow in you???
