When my ex husband and I first got separated, I was clueless about dating. We were together like 12 years and I was really young when we started dating so I really had no clue.

After I was over my grieving period, what I started to do was just chat with many people on line, not for a relationship or anything, but just to see what was out there, to practice social skills. It made it alot easier for me to open up to people I did not know and made me a little less shy. Whats nice about on line is that since you are not face to face it is easier to be yourself, and if you want to you can just stop talking.

Since then, I actually did meet somebody on line, we have been dating like 2 years now and the relationship is great. Talking with him so long before meeting helped a lot. When the time came to actually meet, we really knew each other, goals like dislikes and it turned out really well.

Open up a myspace account, put some nice digital pics of yourself. You can start by talking to chicks online. If you 'hit it off' with any of them, ask them out. This way you kinda know them before you go out with them, you kinda start out as friends.

Once your myspace page is up, you can 'browse' women in the age range and zip code areas who are there for 'dating' and 'relationships'. Then scroll through and click on the pictures of the women you find attractive.

Good luck my friend!

I was married 10 years and had no idea where to start...but I found that on line dating was helpful. It helped me to find great people who live near me. I am now engaged and I met him through True Beginnings. Try it.

Just go out and start talking to women that you feel interested in. I know it sounds simple and is not but if you don't go out and talk to them you can't find them. I actually met my current wife by accident. It was just casual conversation that led to more intimate interest on our part.

Believe it or not the online dating thing works fairly well. Try Craigslist. You can post your own add or just respond to others. I have to warn you though it could be quite addictive.
