It is difficult because everyone has to think the same for that to work. Unfortunately, people do not all think the same. While you are loving everyone, someone else is plotting how to destroy you and steal your wealth. Only if you are willing to segregate yourself with a few like minded people are you likely to experience peace and love. And even then you are vulnerable to outside forces. The reality is we don't control our own destiny entirely. We are dependent on others to be reasonable.

I don't think so it’s a short time, but it is limited.
There is no relation whit the time and the behavior one supposed to have. We grow in different parts and families, whit different religions and politic ways. Only a few, when grown up, will free themselves of all those doctrines, to adopt others or none.
Even thought there are so many opposite’s ways to think as truth and peace many different faces those have.
And the most division is caused by religion.

Try some other topics.
I have only visited Religion & Spirituality a few times. It's is the only one that I've found that spews venom. What people won't do in the name of religion.
Pets, business, culture, there are so many to enjoy. Hop around.

There will never be peace and love until all of our instinct is bred out. Life IS short, and the only guarantee we have is that it will end soon. Until the concepts of "good and evil" are finally thrown to the wind for "opposing viewpoints" we will have this problem.

Because most of us are on this Earth for such a short time that we don't get it.
If we could live another 100 years, we might start to develop some wisdom, although one could argue that point when you see what gets posted on Yahoo Answers.

If people would stop living for imaginary gods and start living for themselves, the world would be a happier place.

Bcoz if people knows how to live on earth then the developed countries would be the poor countries.so live in earth till death we need others to our growth

I couldn't agree more. We should all just sit down and choose one religion, make everyone adhere to it, and get on with it. War would end.

Promises of reward in the afterlife mean that believers don't have to care so much about the quality of life in this one.
