I want the chicken to stay intact... I also don't want the noodles soggy. How long do I cook it for if the chicken is already cooked and the noodles are not?

Well............. first off, don't add the noodles until you are almost ready to eat. However, you want the flavors to "marry" which takes time. So add your chicken, some chicken stock, all the veggies under the sun with the seasoning and let it simmer for however long you want it to. The chicken shouldn't fall apart unless you stir with a heavy hand. About a half hour or so before you are ready to eat, add the noodles. :)

You can put your chicken, broth, seasonings and veggies in the crockpot and keep warm all day. Don't add your cooked noodles until right before serving. But you don't have to use your crockpot at this point. You can cook you veggies in the broth, add your seasoning and before you are ready to serve, add your chicken and cooked noodles to heat.

What alot of people do is cook the noodles seperately, put in the refrigerator, then add at the last minute. This way the noodles stay firm. This way you only have to use what you need. You can make everything else in the crockpot and keep it on low.

You don't need a crockpot for this. The only thing that needs to cook would be the veggies and noodles, I wouldn't recomend slow cooking noodles. Once the noodles, veggies and broth are cooked you just need to add your chicken and simmer to blend the flavors.

Sorry, probably not the answer you wanted to hear.

I brown the chicken pieces (seasoned) slowly
it should create a brownness on bottom of pot.
Then I saute garlic, onion, green onion, and carrots....I add broth (knorr chicken broth).......sauteing the onions and other veggies will release the browning on bottom of pot which is flavor
If you don't want he veggies just broth....cook for a while (I would Leave one piece of chick in for flavor).......add what you like while cooking........if you put carrots cut thick so they do not get mussy or wait till later to add

when taste is what you like add rest of chick....
Cook noodles.....put noodles in bowl and pour soup over noodles No soggy noodles

Your going to have to microwave the chick to fully cook after browning

Doesnt matter. You can put it in the crockpot all day long if you want just to keep it warm. Just put the broth and whatever else in the crockpot with it and put it on low, or if you want it right away, put it on a higher temp for an hour or two. Hope this helps!
