A man must get a sheep a wolf and a cabbage from one island to the other.But he can olny put one at a time in his boat.but if he leaves the wof and the sheep alone then the wolf will eat the sheep but if he leaves the sheep and the cabbage then the sheep will eat the cabbage.So what must he do?

you take the sheep first go back alone and get the cabbage then come back with the sheep live the sheep and take the wolf to the other side then go back and get the sheep. Does this solve the riddle do i get ten points. Thank you

First take the sheep across to the island.Then carry the wolf along with you during the second trip.Now transfer the sheep to the first island and carry the cabbage leaving the sheep behind.Now carry the sheep to the island by making the final trip.
Its as simple as that....

take the sheep, leave the wolf and the cabbage there along... a wolf will not eat cabbage....
Or you can just take the wolf, you can have the sheep eat the cabbage, then the wolf eat the sheep, and if you take the wolf you in the end have all 3 of them? would you not?

Put the sheep in the boat and tie ropes around the cabbage and the wolf and drag them behind - a wolf can swim and i expect a cabbage floats

first he should take the sheep , leave her on the other island, then come back take the wolf and leave him on the island where he first left the sheep, while returning he should carry the sheep back to the first island, leave her there, take the cabbage and return to the other island, then return back and carry back the sheep to the other island, in this manner no one will eat each other. i hope i am RIGHT!!!

take the sheep first, then go back for wolf.. take wolf to island, put sheep on boat to go pick up cabbage, leave sheep on island it was origainally on while taking cabbage back to 2ed island with wolf.. then go back to get sheep...whhhhh.... did i get it ???

right... 1st take sheep over, go back, take wolf over, bring sheep back with him, take cabbage over, go back (on his own), then lastly take sheep back accross... and Voila! you have your wolf sheep and cabbage all there with u!
