The best way is to live a righteous, God-fearing life so they may observe you're a good person. As with any person with whom you share the Gospel, you must gain their trust first, proving to them that you love them for who they are. (This is why door-to-door witnessing isn't the best way.)

Christians did not slaughter Jews, just as whites did not enslave Africans. A group of Nazis, who claimed to be Christian, but we clearly know they were not, killed thousands of Jews. Certain groups of Europeans, Americans, and Africans participated in the slave trade and enslaved and/or killed untold thousands of Africans. To generalize like that is inaccurate.
As for convincing Jews that Christians are tolerant, all you can do is live as Christ commanded. Your actions will speak for themselves. Question: Have you ever participated in an inter-faith movement? It is a great way to interact and pray, yes pray, with people of different faiths.

If you are a true Christian, you can't convince them because it's not true. If you personally have changed, that's great- but then Christians would tell you that you are no longer a Christian. That is because a Christian believes one must accept JC as the savior and one must be baptized to go to Heaven...
So, you are out of luck.
True Christians cannot tolerate anyone who is different from them.

well tell them christinas made the mistake of following teh torah - an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth, as jews persecuted christ and his followers after his death, the best example of this is Saul on the road to Damascus who was converted.
Christians never persecuted Jews, secular authorities needed a scapegoat and a group to get money off when times were harsh, and then jews were blamed for disease because they were the only miniority. Spain is a different example - comfort the jews with the idea that they were not picked on, catholics, muslims and jews were picked on - everyone was. like the throwing of accusations in the communist party

Such elation to learn that you have decided to tolerate us!!! Now that you've decided we can be tolerated, perhaps in the next two Millennia you will decide to respect us???? Nooooo, that's probably way too much to expect from any Christian.
How can any Christian who "believes" what the gospels say about Jews ever truly respect us?
I'm sure the Muslims will also be elated when you agree to tolerate them as well. Atheists/agnostics, gays/lesbians -- forget it! No tolerance for you guys ever!

You may be as you say, "more tolerant" but Christians still are not respectful of Jews. Christians still target us for conversion, regard their religion as superior, and promote their religion as being the fulfillment of ours. These actions views are not respectful, but degrading to us and our beliefs. When you accept our beliefs as separate and equal to your own, we may be able to come to more of an understanding.

True Christians would not slaughter any one.
Just like true Jews would not slaughter any one.
If either one sins, they are not doing God's will.

Well, the best thing you could do is try and be more tolerant. Not participating in anti-semitic comments onilne and supporting Israel in a desperate struggle for survival in the Mid-East.

Well, you could start by not calling them Jews.
EDIT:
The term Jew, short for Jewish, may not be a derogatory term per say but it has been used that way in the past. For example, "That man tried to Jew me out of my money." or "Hey, man don't try to Jew me down." It insinuates that the Jewish are money obsessed and will take advantage of any opportunity to cheat someone. I would think that the Jewish community find it somewhat insulting to be associated with that stereotype.
I thought the use of the word Jew sounded insincere. If that earns me thumbs down, so be it.

Walk the walk. It is all you can do. It is all any of us can do. You can't talk anyone into thinking you are tolerant. You have to walk it.
