think we should be an income tax free state? Why or why not?

No one's income should be taxed by any city, state or federal government. Taxes should be based on what we consume, not what we earn. This concept is called the "fair tax" by neal boortz. read it--it makes very good sense.

I don't think any state should be without income taxes because taxes are a way to help the state government run. I know it is a pain and I can feel it every year around April but it's a necessity. Some states pay a lot of income taxes and some don't pay state taxes at all. However, the states that don't require state income taxes don't have funds to help the people in their state for state-runned programs and facilities. I would love NOT to pay state taxes but I live in NYC and I have to pay federal, state and city taxes. So it hurts my pockets. It's a sad thing, but we all have to do our share to help keep our state and our federal government running.

i feel the money we earn should not been taken by tax to be honest its unfair
