It is best to book on the airline's website directly. I book several flights a month (travel a lot for work) so I do this pretty often. Most of the sites like expedia.com or orbitz.com as well as travel agents charge a "booking fee: of $5 or more. So what I do is check one of those sites to see which airline is cheapest, and then I go to that airline's website and pick the same flights. I just about always get the same price without the booking fee. Most airlines also now guarantee that you will get the cheapest fares on their websites. Plus I always think it's best to buy from the source whenever possible. Also, with some of the "low-fare" carriers (like Southwest or JetBlue), the only way to book their flights online is on their own websites. Although they're not always the cheapest option either.

I use Expedia.com for all my travel needs and have never been dissatisfied. Wide choice from all the airlines, with ability to select best flights, discounts and destinations "when I want to travel", not the airline timetable
I had trouble with an airline screwing up a flight and Expedia handled it immediately and at no charge.
A second time in Chicago, they made the changes during my cell call in about two minutes and I was on my way without any hassle.

Pretty much all website are the same it depend on what kind of service will be provided to you . i use this site myself this is done thru a travel agent and not a call center . http://www.rtptravelservices.joystar.com

i use expedia.com, all you have to do is set up an account online, it takes like 5min. its really easy, plus you get really good discounts alot for just having an account, and there are a bunch of packages and cheap tickets.
