Looks, smiles, teasing glances, even seemingly innocent touch and brushes ~ these are a few of my favorite things :-) It's also in the way you can time things - say, you are at the mall when he is, you are at the coffee shop when he's around, etc.
Nothing like communication though. Just the way we talk, say the things that can interpreted as flirtatious yet seem pretty innocent ~ those will remain in your mind long after you guys have left the scene.
