The most clever name I have seen was a three legged dog that was named Tripod. I want to see if anyone has heard of anything that is wittier or as clever as this?

A friend of mine adopted a dog that had been abused and was missing an eye so he called him Pirate.
Very cute dog and it made the dog's appearance a little more acceptable to children.

Frisbee~ that dog would just fly around the yard!
Stupid...my brother would let him outside in the morning and when he'd call him back into the house...."Hey Stupid...come here!" the people in the neighborhood or walking by, took offense or scowled, til they learned it was the dogs name. Not a dumb pet, either.
