Has anyone ever got a "blister" or a "bump" from tanning? I usually tan a little in late winter, early spring, so I don't burn in the sun. (I know, I know, I shouldn't tan, I don't want to hear it) I came home yesterday after tanning, and before I went to bed, noticed a small blister like bump on my brest, no pain in it at all, and this morning it was gone? Is this normal, please only people with tanning experience answer!!! Thanks!!!

In all my years of tanning (close to 15, ending with a melanoma diagnosis in 2005) I never had that happen to me. Was it itchy even? I was thinking perhaps a bug bite, or maybe you got a little overdone. But if it's gone, then I wouldn't worry about it too much.

And yes, you don't want to hear it, but trust me (and the ugly 2" scar on my forearm) - learn to embrace your pastiness!!

whoa....... 1. you'll probably get a change after one visit, just make sure you don't go in too long and get burnt! 2. I would say around 5-7 visits depending on the strength of the bulbs at the tanner you're going to. 3. Tanning beds give you a comparable tan. 4. I would always tan in the sun if I had time! You can always do both. 5. Tans from a bed last a while once you have been regularly going I would say about a week before you are going back to normal. 6. Nothing really happens after you tan in either place except that it eventually will wear off or if you get burnt it will peel off. Thats why you have to go fairly regularly and for appropriate amounts of time.
