Let's see............what hasn't he done? Hmmm. Well, we'll start with the two things I prayed long and hard to help our family with. They are:
1. Didn't heal my daughter who has 2 valves in her heart that are ruined. She's 15 and was already told if she gets pregnant it'll put too much pressure on her heart and she may / may not die.
2. Didn't heal my Niece who was diagnosed with Pneumatic Fever about 7 years ago (she's now 16), which can kill her at any time. She lives on about 25 pills a day to keep it at bay.
Then there's the same as everyone else - I'm broke, dead-end job, car that doesn't work well, friends are not "true" friends, etc. etc that I deal with and have prayed to God to help me out. But no! Apparently I'm meant to be on the earth to suffer all I can before I finally die.
But, through all the hardships, I smile. Not because of God, but because I'm still here and still suffering, because I have 2 beautiful children, and I do eat, I do work, I do have family, and I do have me and I have found true love.

As an atheist, I don't expect any supernatural deity to help me.
My wife is religious and prays, yest God has not answered her prayers for the child we want. Turns out she can't carry kids but I can father them.
The atheist is ok, but the believer has a birth defect. The irony is the only amusing thing of this situation.

God has absolutely not comforted me in my times of sorrow. Really, when things have been at their worst, I have pulled myself up by my bootstraps and mustered on without any support from God. And I'm sure there are those who will say, "But God WAS there..."
No. He wasn't. What I have endured I have endured alone. It wasn't until I discovered Wicca and came to the realization that we are supposed to be doing things FOR OURSELVES and not relying on some absentee father to provide for us that I began to feel true happiness every day.

I am 53 and have worked real hard on mypersonal growth for a VERY long time and God has not stepped in to lift my depression so I can have things a little easier. He has helped me find tools to cope but I often feel I could use more of a break.

He hasn't existed. Wow I can't believe people need proof and logic for things. We should all be tracking down vampires, leprechauns, and dragons.

Wow! I can't believe so many people need proof and want "things." Not having proof and believing anyway is what faith is all about. It's also about free choice. Anyway, to answer your question, I'm happy with what I have and what he has done.

They've given be the ability to come to earth, live my life according to my chart, given me free will to do so. They love me, and can infuse the strength I need to get through hard times.
Look around yourself and if you look hard enough, and want to see it, you will. And if you don't, then maybe that is the path you have chosen to follow.

Hasn't done anything............Hasn't revealed himself, proven his existence (in terms of biblical God anyway. ..he was around so much back then talking to Moses and causing miracles., what is he? on a thousands of years lunch break?)
"God" of the bible doesn't exist...
some other form of "God"/creator in terms humans are unable to comprehend or have knowledge of may still exist.
Perhaps the universe itself is God which manifests life throughout it, perhaps God IS the breath of life in everything given the grace to exist and experience universal consciousness.
