What about Illegal immigration for Americans?

My question is Illegal Immigrants want the same rights as American Citizens upon arrival in the United States, but if an American Citizen were to move to Mexico, Canada, Cambodia, China would they be granted the same rights as their citizens? If not why should only one country have to change their system and not every other country as well.

I am not saying Illegal Immigration is right I am just saying that it seems the Immigrants want all the rights that Americans have and I was wondering why the favor would most likely not be returned to Americans who immigrated. I think people should be able to live where they want but there should not be a double standard as if America is the only place that should allow Illegal Immigrants to prosper. It seems that America is the only place that gets a bad rep for this but if every American wanted to move wherever then I think other Countries would react the exact same way America is. And I hate double standards. If Immigrants can come over and demand rights than I should be able to too.

If an American moved to Mexico, Canada, etc. they would be bound by that country's laws and pay their taxes. This is not illegal immigration. Nobody is saying "you can't come to America", but if you do immigrate to America, you need to follow the same laws as the rest of us and pay the same taxes to be granted the same rights as the rest of us.

Hell no they are not granted the same protections!!!! I had lived the past three years in Mexico and before that 7 years in Japan and let me tell you its not a fair 2 way street. Japan will NEVER grant full citizenship to a foriegn born person under no circimstances is a non Japenese give citizenship or the benefits that come with it. Zero Zip nada!! it does not happen!! And Mexico so many gringoes are murdered beaten robbed defrauded and swindled that its just disgusting to say the least.. and whats worse is that when a gringo gets royally screwed in Mex our OWN gov does ABSOLUTLY NOTHING to help gringoes who have been beligerently wronged by Mexicans in Mexico. So when a Mex legal or illegal comes here and just starts DEMANDING benefits privillages rights protection welfare money free health care housing jobs the right to OWN property amnesty for crimes etc etc etc at my tax paying expense I take great offense at the nerve these immigrants dispaly. it is such a slap in my face that I AM ANGERED BEYOND ALL CONTINENCE how dare you come here and just DEMAND EVERYTHING under the sun and drain our resources!! How dare you! this goes for legal and illegal immigrants! enough is enough , My children can no longer go to their OWN school any more they are bullied by children of Viet and Mex immigrants because they are the only white minority at the school now! ANd the nerve these immigrants display is just disgusting beyond reprieve!!! Well Ive about said enough!! Its time to take our conntry back! from these immigrants once and for all!!!

Please don't take this as an attack of any sort, its more of an explanation of what you don't see. Immigrants, illegal or otherwise, don't always demand the rights you say they do. Otherwise they wouldn't be working the jobs they do for minimal pay, they wouldn't go without health care, they wouldn't be living in poor conditions. All they wish to accomplish is a better life for their families, and if that means working 10 hours a day, for less than minimum wage, than that's what will happen. Many immigrants don't complain about their living conditions to their landlords, because what they have is preferable to living in the streets, they don't complain about their jobs because having some income is preferable to not having the money to feed your kids. You seem to be looking at what a small part of people are doing and applying it to the whole group, when you don't see even half of it, because they don't make their voices heard for fear of losing what they have, little as it may be.

Because people keep talking about the past and not the present.

They are more concerned about the wrong doings that happened 200 years ago and not the issues of today.

If we keep on the path that we are...the US as we know it will no longer exist. It will no longer be the country that is great that makes people want to come here to begin with.

We need to deal with the issues of today...and preserve our country for our children and grandchildren. If not...then overpopluation WILL turn the US into a 3rd world country. We can not sustain the current level of illegal immigration. Our infrastructure can not handle the rapid growth.

Illegal aliens are illegal no matter where they come from or what country you are in illegally .The illegal American deserves to be arrested and deported from whatever country he is in illegally.Just as ALL illegal aliens in the USA, need to be deported.No amnesty's,no exceptions.Arrested and deported back to the country they came from.

Well if they moved to one of those countries, they would probably do it legally, and be entitled to those rights after a while. The illegal immigrants sneak into this country instead of going through the legal channels.
