Here is some evidence:

All of theses religions are 'self-evident' to be 'true'. All of them are equally possible to be 'lies'. It's a matter of perception and opinion.
What's the motive or point of religion really?

Some or should i say a lot believe they need a purpose in life. Therefore they choose religion.
Personally i don't need it, i think most of them are crap, but i do believe in what most would call the afterlife. Not heaven or hell though just another existence. Science says energy can change form but not disappear. As there is a lot of energy in the human body including electrical energy then surely it has to go somewhere?

I agree that religions were birthed from our perceptions and opinions. Because they are man made.
But the truth is what it is.. the truth.
There is no way of getting around it.
We can ignore it, but that doesn't make it go away.
The evolutionary theory is a farce.
Lies to keep us in the dark.
Anyone who does the slightest amount of unbiased searching will come to that conclusion.
So if we didn't just happen to evolve from some slime and gasses 5 billion years ago...There must be a Creator eh?
The truth sometimes hurts..
So if we're smart.. maybe we should find out what this Creator is expecting from us while we're on this earth.
life is too short to screw up eternity.

The law wasn't enough to keep people in control, so they invented religion. Besides that, some people meditated long and hard enough to reach such high levels of vibration that they reached the ultimate point - of total peace and salvation. The rest of the people thought these people were Gods and made big books of rules for the 'followers'. Thats all.

Religion is a limitation that people try to place on God.
They use religion to create a God that judges just like they do. A God that hates just as they hate and loves sparingly like a miser just the way that they do.
Lucky for us that the real unconditionally loving God is not affected by this nonsense in any way.
Love and blessings Don

Religions are created when someone declares that they can provide answers to the universal questions that we all ask. He sees it better than working and we would rather believe him than question him once he threatens us with damnation or the equivalent. Every good religion needs a good con-man.

Historically religion serves two purposes. Explaining the unexplainable (useless today) and controling the ignorant masses (equally offensive).

If it is written in a big old book that needs a priest to interpret it for you, then it MUST be true!
