I am getting a boxer puppy and wanted any suggestions. I was leaning toward Murphy.

I like Murphy. Also think Rosco is a fun name for a boxer!

If you are getting a male dog and it is a boxer it should have a boxer's name like Ali, Tyson, Foreman, Sugar Ray, or whatever your favorite boxer is. Thats just my opinion.
I would name it Tyson.

I like Boston personally.
We have/had a Dio and Benson. We know people who have had a Zeke, Beau, Sawyer, Jake, Mouse, Bailey, Brownie, Blackie,Chester, Rollo, and the neighbor up the road has a dog named Sh**head.
Because two of our three dogs have been adoptees from the humane society, we didn't name them. We figured they had enough changes in their lives without adding a new name to it, so we just kept the name that they came to us with.
The only dogs we have ever named was our girl Shadow (a black lab mix) and my husband named his families Poodle Ichabod Aaron (Icky for short).

I had a friend who had a great boxer named Dempsy.. after the fighter, I would stay away from Tyson as he has a terrible disposition!
