Me and a couple of other guys were out one night and somehow the conversation of women being jealous of each other came up. My input was that from what I've seen, guys can be just as jealous of each other as women get but that jealousy comes out in different ways. So of course this was not taken seriously since as everyone apparently knows women get more jealous than men. BUT I guess my question to you all is is this really the case?

I can say from my own observation that I have seen so many guys fume with jealousy or hatred of other guys that I almost snicker when they say thats something women do more than us. But maybe my experiences are not indicative of what is the norm. What is your opinion?

Where did you come from ?? One man with some sense in this world. You are 100% correct. Men are extremely jealous and as you said it comes out differently. We have categorized jealous behavior to what women do but never stopped to think that because men are different they will manifest it in different ways. Do you know how many ex's I have that instead of calling what they were doing jealousy, they called it being worried about me. Its all bs. Its nothing more than pure jealousy. I'm glad to see there are men who realize this but were you able to get any of your friends to agree ?

Of course men get jealous of other men. Over the same things as women...what they look like, how much they make, who they married, what they have, where they live. Jealousy is not gender biased.

It comes down to differences in behavior.

Of course men can get just as jealous as women (we're all human!)

Women aren't afraid to expresstheir feelings. Men, on the other hand, deny they have these emotions or make jokes about it.

Women seem more jealous, because a woman would think about cheating on her husband/boyfriend, when a guy, would just do it. So, women are always more jealous. Not in everything, but in relationships and everything. But yes, men are just as jealous.....maybe...

God bless

You are correct. The reason some guys think women are worse has alot to do with the battle of the sexes that has raged for years. Men are just as critical of other men too!

i assume the two. it particularly is in simple terms that maximum adult males do no longer practice their jealousy simply by fact of their delight, on an identical time as women are greater expressive and open with their emotions, that's why some human beings assume that ladies get greater jealous than adult males. yet you in no way incredibly understand what's interior somebody's coronary heart and thoughts however. ^_^

maybe, but it's two different forms. Men are primal, territorial and want to defend what's theirs. Women, inately more subservient (and this coming from a feminist), tend to suffer insecurity to great extents and are jealous out of fear.
