I am trying to type in C&D Tucking in the header of Micrsoft Excel and when I type the D it changes it to the date and looks like this C01/01/2007 Trucking. What am I doing wrong?

right click / format cells

Type Two Ampersands C && D Trucking and it will work.

Are you using the shift key to capitolize the d? Try just using the caps lock. That might work.

Use two ampersand && signs in the header. The &D makes it think it is the date command.

Make sure you are not holding down Ctrl.

try typing ' before you type C&D
