Islam is widely considered Europe's fastest growing religion, with immigration and above average birth rates leading to a rapid increase in the Muslim population.

"It's true. But religion must die, so humanity can save itself" - some would say that due to the decline of christianity, islam is the fastest growing religion.

"Nah, just another passing fad, like christianity. Then europeans will ditch it like they ditched christianity" - muslims won't allow it to be ditched hence the high numbers.

It is an interesting thought but it goes to the strength of Islam in that followers have to leave their homelands to live elsewhere because of the violence, repression and hatred in the Middle East. So is it the new religion of Europe or is it that it destroys the communities and families so they have to flee to an area that can supply what Islamic fundamental countries cannot? It seems more that Islam is in Europe because it kills its young in the homeland its followers have to flee. It is not a rising religion if the followers are primarily refugees, it would be a rising religion if Europeans (native) were turning toward Islam. That is not the case. The violence and hatred and brutaility of Islamic states causes its followers to seek refuge in countries with other religious values where they can survive. The hatred and violence follows them there though so it seems that Islam does not seem to be so much a religion as it is an "ism" like fascism, Nazism or other ideologies that destroy themselves in the long term. Islam has value as a religion but the dogma is held hostage by evil men (and no women) who have perverted it the way some Christians feel that Satan is a threat to Christianity. Most religions struggle against evil acts but Islam seems to be evil at its root or at least in the control of evil men who have misused the word.

It will not be a good thing, cultures clash look at Cyprus, Israel or Serbia. If people want to see conflict and revolutions then they support Muslim majority in non-Muslim countries, or rather a takeover. It a racist way to think those that want a Muslims takeover and prevail over the other indigenous cultures. Plus it won't happen according to Pew Research, Predictions that Europe will become a majority-Muslim "Eurabia" are unfounded, according to the report by the Pew Research Center's Forum on Religion and Public Life, a nonpartisan research group. Muslims in Europe made up only 6 percent of the population in 2010, and will grow to 8 percent by 2030, the report says. In France and Belgium, Muslims will be about 10 percent of the population in 20 years, and in Britain, 8 percent. There's this overwhelming assumption that Muslims are populating the earth, But the real figures show a different story. The report also finds that the so-called Muslim youth bulge -- the high percentage of Muslims worldwide in their teens and 20s -- has peaked. With more Muslim women getting educations and jobs, people migrating to cities, and living standards improving, the report says, the birthrate in majority-Muslim countries will come to more closely resemble the pattern in other nations.

No surprise, islamic evil is now on the spreading stage and the muslims are aggressively infesting secular lands and desperately trying to get a hold on them. Australia, France, Germany, London, America, Somalia...no safe place anymore.
Qur’an 8:60 “Infidels should not think that they can get away from us. Prepare against them whatever arms and weaponry you can muster so that you may terrorize them.”
Bukhari:V4B52N260 “The Prophet said, ‘If a Muslim discards his religion, kill him.’”
Qur’an 5:51 “Believers, take not Jews and Christians for your friends.”
Bukhari [4:52:177]: Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him!"
Bukhari, V1B4N234: "A group of people from the Oreyneh and Oqayelh tribes came to the prophet to embrace Islam, the prophet advised them to drink the urine of the camels. Later on when they killed the prophet's shepherd, the prophet seized them, gouged out their eyes, cut their hands and legs, and left them thirsty in the desert to die."

I'm not sure if it can be called a religion really. It's basically a corruption of Judaism (ie. the Old Testament/Torah, somewhat distorted so that M could claim authorship) with the addition of some pagan arab beliefs from mohommed's time and a few extra additions of violence and inhumanity added to encourage the followers with thoughts or carnage, mayhem and loot.
Sooner or later, the West will learn to ignore it and let it follow other religions/belief systems into the dustbin of the history of primitive peoples.

You're correct about Islam and Europe. However, it is not new to region nor do I think it will replace Christianity.
Have you thought about the fastest growing religion in Iraq? It's Christianity. It to is not new to Iraq nor do I feel it will replace Islam.
