You could always try Waitrose. The best OXO cubes for lamb failing that are the ready roasted onion ones. The onion flavour really does bring out the flavour of the lamb. Once your lamb is cooked add the oxo cubes to the residue in the roasting tin and add Two tablespoons of cornflour, then add ½ pint of warm water (or 1/4 pint water and 1/4 pint red wine. stir gently until thickened. Makes lovely gravy. xx
A tip about Crumbling your OXO without making a mess!!
1) do not open your OXO wrapper straight away.
2) do it this way (and you will tell your friends) Press it almost flat within its silver wrapper.
3) Then open it. The OXO will be powder and will not make a mess. This way there is never any waste!!
