God created everything. We didn't follow His simple instructions and were cursed. He set new rules, even wrote some with His own finger, we had problems following those as well. Finally God sent His own son to be born of a virgin to die for our sins. Jesus was crucified and buried, but rose to life again on the third day. We are told that however admitts that they are a sinner, believes and calls Jesus as Lord, and committs there lives to Christ will not perish but will have eternal life. At the end the followers of Christ spend eternity in heaven. Those that chose not to believe spend eternity in hell being tormented. The end, actually it's not because eternity has no end!

Take time to read it, it's worth the effort!!

If you don't have time to read the Bible, what good is someone's explanation of it going to do for you.

How will you know that you are not hearing misinterpretation or an outright lie ? By what means will you be able to discern truth ?

Obviously, you are attempting a mock at God's word but it is only at your own peril. Here is a summary of facts from both the Old and New Testaments that may help you.

God loves everyone and will forgive anyone but will not save anyone against his or her will or without his or her cooperation. In order to be prepared to live in heaven, person must have a Christlike character. A Christlike character is the only kind of character that can enjoy heaven and the only kind of character that can be trusted in heaven.

God makes earth. God makes man. Man is lonely. God makes woman. Snake tempts woman to eat apple. Woman gains knowledge, causes man's downfall. Woman and man are cursed and banished from garden. God kills lots of people through many wars and a flood until his people are finally released from Egypt, then God continues killing more people. Men get to have lots of wives and concubines. Lots of laws are passed that limit what people can do and enforce poor treatment of women. Jesus comes along and says all things in the Old Testament don't count except for those prophecies which his birth fulfilled. Jesus teaches. Jesus dies. Jesus rises again. Other stuff happens, but it doesn't matter that much, because the world is going to end in a battle between God and Satan and if you haven't accepted Jesus you'll be left behind. Life is bleak.

The End.

OT: A few people wrote this story about an invisible man in the sky that punishes us for our sins and makes us kill our animals to forgive our sins.
NT: People realized that they were killing animals they could eat so some more people decided to add a sequel to the OT. They made up a story about killing a man but it was okay because he came back from the dead and all we have to do it believe it and we go to heaven.

John 3:16 has been called "the little Bible". I don't have time to read it all either, but I'm working on it.

The Bible is a gift from God, one for which we can be truly grateful. A careful study of God’s Word shows that it is because Gods name and supremacy are involved that he has extended mercy and provided deliverance to members of the human race. When Adam and Eve rebelled Jehovah could immediately have wiped them out, together with the adversary, and started anew. Why did he not do so? Because by causing Adam and Eve’s deflection the adversary had challenged Jehovah’s supremacy, had challenged his ability to put men on earth that would maintain integrity, had challenged Jehovah’s ability to carry out his purposes. That is why God mercifully permitted our first parents to live so many years after they had sinned.

Many people look only at the physical, human aspect of what the bible says, but if you look at it in a spiritual sense and pray for understanding, then as Proverbs 2 verse 3 to 5 states  "if, moreover, you call out for understanding itself and you give forth your voice for discernment itself, 4 if you keep seeking for it as for silver, and as for hid treasures you keep searching for it, 5 in that case you will understand the fear of Jehovah, and you will find the very knowledge of God."

just try praying for understanding and you will be surprised.

The Bible is the instruction manual that comes with a human being. We 'get religion' and 'see the light' when we are absolutely desperate because, If all else fails, we read the manual.
