I was reborn in Christ due to a brief series of direct revelations, and it has changed every day of my life since. Now that a year and 1/2 has gone by, I find that it is difficult to find others willing to talk about their walk with God. When it's cautiously brought to the table, the response is cold silence. Could this revelation be of Satan - and God is muting for the protection of others?

For so long now I've studied the Bible cover to cover looking for answers. I've searched the fringes of the internet and tried to absorb any information or theory that may have even a small thread of truth. The search is exhauting, and I'm beginning to think that it may just be an unhealthy obsession.

Do other people feel they have pieces of a puzzle, and they just want to find other people with other pieces. It's as if there is a huge complex picture waiting to be revealed, but the pieces have to be brought together. Alone they mean little...

Is there a place to find others?

It is an interesting question you have posted here. You never walk alone when you have God in your life. He promises peace that passes understanding. You exercise daily, walking with the Lord in His Word. I am excited to know the prophecies in Daniel, and the book of Revelation have been so accurate, and are happening now. I read one of the answers someone wrote in regard to your question...stating that art, music, and other similar ideas are neglected by the Bible...if only that person understood what God is all about, and read the Bible, he/she would know that God invented music and art. There are so many things that are in scripture that people are afraid to accept or read about because they think if they ignore it, it will go away, or not happen. Jesus is coming again! Are you ready? Everyone who tries to discredit the Bible must eventually grow tired of kicking his or her feet against the goads...sure the different churches have vastly different doctrines...but consider that if they were to take the overall important issues, in the end those who are of the remnant keep the commandments of God, and the testimony of Jesus Christ, which is the spirit of prophecy. Keep studying, and praying...inhale, exhale...and never let fear overcome you when you have the urge to share...that's the Holy Sprit moving you to do according to our commission as Christians, to preach the Good News! The Blessed Hope--faith becoming sight, and our Lord there where every eye will see, and every ear will hear the trumpet of the Lord. I invite everyone to take steps to be ready, as He will come like a thief in the night. Amen!

Often being a Christian who takes Christianity seriously leads to loneliness. I know preachers who haven't even read the entire Bible.
If you have read the entire Bible you know that the prophets of the Old Testament often led lonely lives. If you have received direct revelation from God you are a prophet.

While I won't rule out that you have had a Revelation from God before I have actually heard what the revelations are, very few people actually have direct information from God, if the knowledge that the revelation reveals isn't already in the Bible, but is a needed revelation for the general public that would mean the Bible is incomplete and to allot of Christians that idea is unscriptual because of a warning in the Book of Revelation about adding to scripture. But there is a debate amoung some that the verse may have been refering to just the book of Revelation.

But be warned allot of people don't believe in modern day direct revelation, partly because their are allot of false prophets.

If you will privately e-mail me with details about your prophecies I will do some research for you.

I would say that determining if your search is an unhealthy obsession, or a good way of life for you, is entirely up to you. You have made the choice to go as far as you have up to this point. I do believe that faith teaching also states that you and you alone make the choice to walk with God.

Ask yourself this: are you happy? Because if your are happy, it tends to show and thus attract people to you who want to be happy as well. If the path you are on is not fulfilling enough for you then maybe it is time to change the path you are on.

My true opinion is this: The Bible and religion are a very popular source of wisdom, but you can't deny the fact that Music, Art, and other Cultures also contain the wisdom of humanity as a whole that the Bible fails to cover. After all, it is one of the oldest texts around, don't you think that maybe it needs to be updated.

If you limit your intake to one philosophy, you limit your ability to experience anything outside of that philosophy (or religion).
Remember, the choice is yours, and God forgives.

What's going on is that there is a lot of negativity associated with Christianity and people are very diverse in their beliefs. The Bible is clear - God is love. But that didn't stop the Crusades or the majority of Christians from judging others. I think people are largely unwilling to talk about their walk with God due to fear of being judged. A person's relationship with God is between them and God, not other's opinions. God knows your heart and your soul, find peace in that :)

Well it definetely sounds like you've allowed this journey to get the best of you. First of all... do you believe in Jesus and are a servant of God? If you are... why exhaust yourself when you should put yourself in His hands. It's not your job to continue the search on your own. It's your job to submit yourself to God so He can direct you into the fullness of Himself. And... I think your question should be.. if you follow the True Jesus will a person be lonely? YES. Following the True God would lead you to wonderful places that you would've otherwise not gone but also leads you to times of solitude, persecution, entrapment, and many many spiritual battles. This truth alone has lead many to run away fearing for their lives b/c sometimes it can become unbearable. Fortunately.... for those who endure>> it's allllll worth it knowing HIM!!!!!!!

Do you not go to church? Everyone opens up there and talks about there experiences and there walk with God. It is hard to find people willing to talk outside the church or out in the world. I'm not one of those who are afraid to talk outside of church if you want to email me with questions. I'm pretty much an open book about my experiences. I think that the whole puzzle won't come together completely until Jesus returns. God bless!

Bless you for seeking truth and wisdom. What I would do is pray for those answers and ask for God to reveal them to you. You know he will.I pray every step you take on this journey be blessed.
