It is wrong because at the age of 13 a person is too young to get themselves tied up in a serious relationship and at 13 a girl should be enjoying friendly relationships with guys and not being titled as someones girl. At 18 on the other hand a guy that has decided that they want to date someone should be in a monoganous relationship and dealing with one person at a time so the stage of life is different therefore they should not be together.

First of all its illegal and he could get done for rape or child abuse. and second of all what could a 13 yr old and an 18 yr old possibly have in common. its not about only havin 5 yr of a difference its the age now if they met when she was 20 and him 25 then yeh fine but at the moment no she is still a child and he is an adult. this girls mother should put a stop to it.

Although they would both still be quite immature, turning 18 comes with a few more responsibilities that the 13 year old won't have yet.
As such if he ever has sex with her, he could certainly go to jail and be listed as a predator, a pedophile.
If he truly has feelings for her, then he has to accept that at 13 many and 1 things won't be allowed to her just yet.
He can prove his love to her, if he thinks that it's what it is, by being very patient and wait a few more years to ask her to have any sexual relationship with her.
Make sure you pass the message to your friend, or you'll be bringing him oranges in jail!

It's completely wrong, in my opinion. A thirteen year old girl is only just hitting puberty for one. And emotionally speaking the two are likely to be on completely different maturity levels. Of course I can understand why a 13 year old girl would be interested in an older guy, but I think he should know better and keep away.
If they are sleeping together, your friend should be reported.

Not good but may be acceptabole if
A) They aint having sex or going to 3rd base
B) hes immature for his age and fairly clueless about girls therefore can tbe preditiory... Just both like each other...
c) She is mature for age and knows what she is doing.
D) See A
Many guys are well behind girls in maturity stakes.
also is this girl just turned 13 or about to turn 14 and is he just turned 17.
Most likly should phizzle out as hes can do lots she can't so won't have so much in common. Plus hes likely to be off to uni soon.

I am confused, what would an 18 year old see in a 13 year old, I mean technically she is still a kid at school? 13 way to young... I would be a bit worried about your freind if I was you and more worried about the 18 year old!

Now, everyone has told you it's illegal, so I'm not going to. Havee you thought about the things that are directly related to your situation? Have you thought about social development, and how you are missing out on that due to your situation? Hav you thought about sex? (Because he has) Have you thought about having a child, because that is a possibility, what about STD's? Have you thought of his possible prison sentence? Have you thought that this is an amazing feeling, and I love the attention he gives me........but I'm just not ready for it. Have you thought he is very experienced, and I am not........maybe it's possible he is taking advantage of me in my nieveness? I think not, you are 13, these are things a 13 year old girl should not have to think about, nor worry about. You are too young, put off having a boyfriend for a few years, enjoy being a kid, you have the rest of your life to have a boyfriend.......but you only have the next few years to be a kid........and that's the last chance you will have, because after being a kid, life comes at you pretty fast.........Yes, you are too young, he is too old.

I'd question his motives about wanting to be with a 13 year old. It is rather unsettling. He may have some very unhealthy desires. And, if you do have sex, he will be guilty of statutory rape and he can go to prison where life will not be easy for a man who rapes a child, which is what a 13 year old is. Also, he will then be a registered sex offender for the rest of his life. Apart from that, its OK.

Besides the fact that it is illegal, most thirteen and eighteen year old people are on different maturity and emotional levels. Be a teen, have fun with guys your own age, and let your boyfriend see what he wants in life as well. If he is still around when you are 18, then I say go for it then.

An 18 year old should be thinking about things that a 13 year old is not... like college, working, driving, a future... a 13 year old needs to go back and play with barbie dolls and leave bfriends till they are older.
