Your attitude is shared by a large minority, I among them.
When a person has no proof, no logic or reasoning, the only thing left is ridicule.
Those who ridicule are exposing themselves for what they truly are.

I too like discussing religion but am not rude or argumentative when answering religious related questions. I also don't belittle people who do not share my beliefs as so many do here.
Its not so easy to discuss religion in person, though. Maybe its just because I'm Catholic & so many people disapprove of us. Discussions can get heated which is probably why someone gave some great advice many, many years ago -- never discuss religion or politics if you want to remain friends.

I have seen the solutions that both Christians and atheists submit. we are called to love one yet another. Being humble earlier the Lord is a lengthy way more effective major than being right and/or "prevailing" a controversy. i became damaged by technique of risky words that were spoken to me as a newborn and a youthful human beings and we would want to continuously all communicate the reality in love Ephesians 4:15 What bothers me is the hostility I have seen in this board by technique of both Christians and atheists. Atheists I do pray for and that i also pray that we may all understand the wear of adverse and oppressive words wither in spoken style, written style, digital mail style or for that reason posting style. God bless :)

I would like to think there is, but the way people treat others on this site can be awful I am a Christian and try to live the way I think my God would have me live and that is not hateful or hurtful to other people no matter what my personal beliefs are. But many people seem to think that they have to be down right mean about things to get their point across and it is sad that we can't get to the point of just acting like decent human beings. Thank you for coming across as a pleasant person who is interested in hearing people out and having a discussion with them about it, not just slamming them for their beleifs.

I do the same as you. The sincere questions are obvious; so I just pass over the others.

I believe it is possible, though it seems unlikely, as some use the anonymity provided by the Internet as a license to act like jerks. I do see many reasonable answers, though, so I remain hopeful.
