Sound, (speech), like thoughts, are spiritul powers, and create
frightening things in the spirit world. That is what Hell is.
Multi-dimensions of reality inside our World that we created
with our own negative energies through wars, violence, and
hatred! These things are pulled there by the spiritual force of
magnetism.
The Earth is going to undergo a worldwide catastrophe which
will unleash these forces. And we will be forced to face the spiritual evil we have created. Isaiah 24:18.

Speech = thoughts made real by action. Anything we do that reaches out of our head to the world at large can affect it. It is a question of WHAT you say, HOW you say it and to WHOM.
Chaos theory: a butterfly in china flapping its wings can help create a hurricane half the world away.
My mother always tried to drill into my head that the most important part of this is HOW WE SAY IT. Most people can respect a difference of opinion if framed in the right tone.

Actually...action, speech, and thought have consequences - but not equally significant.

Of course they can. We have a virtual diplomatic incident currently between the UK and India because of the thoughtless racist comments of a contestant in a reality TV show, so careless words can have unforseen consequences.

Jesus thought so when he talked about "what comes out of our mouths being bad". He was discussing sinful reproach, and perhaps misinformation from the non believers.
For example the condemnation of true believers as opposed to the miss-informed.

If we physically hurt someone, the victim's suffering lasts only a short while. If we backbite and gossip, the negative effect will last 100 years!

Yes but to a certain degree only and only applied to different aspects of your life. For example: One person says that he/she will kill a person if... but doesn't really when another doesn't say anything at all but actually does it. Yet a person doesn't physically abuse another but verbally puts them down... it's as if they where hitting them b/c it's just as bad ( or sometimes worse).

Yes, the Bible says in Matt. 12:36 "that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment."

Yes. Bush can say, "Launch the nukes." That could destroy large parts of the world.
Religion is a meme that spreads by word of mouth and has done lots of harm in the world. It's more effective at killing people than a nuke.
