i think that im more afaid of what people will say. i know that i shouldnt worry about what other people think. thats not what my ? is. but anyways he asked me to prom with him. i said yes cuz i think i like him. but any ways befor that he asked me out and i told him that i wanted to get to know him more cuz we have only been talkin for like a month if that long. any ways my ? is am i using him or do i realy like him just scared of what people will say, or am i afaid of cometing

I can't tell you if you really like him or not. Only you know that. It seems that you haven't even given him a chance for you guys to get to know each other because you are so worried about what others may say. People are going to talk regardless. Well my advice is to take a chance on him. Color shouldn’t matter since you obviously don’t have a problem with it. But if you aren’t willing to stand up for yourself and him, if someone were to make a negative comment regarding your relationship, then maybe you should wait until you are prepared.
