hypoxic? please explain. Believe me I have no faith in Docs havent for a long time he has done way more suffering than needed and I truly believe if the Docs cared more about him then the almighty buck or getting sued or fighting with Ins co. things would not be such a life of hell for him, I know there are some Docs out there who care (we had one til he moved out state a yr ago that made house calls when hubby was to sick to go to him at no extra charge who also gave me his home # in case of emergencys but we all know that is not the norm and we will never find that in a Doc again.

Sounds like your husband has Ramsay Hunt syndrome. Please look this up on the web and see if the symptoms fit. If it is he needs to be treated with large doses of steroids. Good Luck.

Mine had the same thing! We were worried about his eye for a while but it has passed.

I suppose it's possible that the vision problem made him confused, but it doesn't sound like a common side effect.

One good thing about having it on the face, if there is a good thing, is that it gets discovered early and so there is more of a chance they would discover it in time to really cure it. Hang in there!

This has nothing to do with shingles, and is probably not a side-effect of Remicade. Sounds hypoxic to me. Be sure you spend enough time with the doctor this afternoon to fill him in completely, and make sure he understands that this is far from your husband's usual behavior (if it fact, it is).

this may sound simplistic but after years of trusting doctor's and pharmaceuticals I now heal myself with just thought. I have never felt better. Don't trust the medical system which puts profit above all else. That may not help your husband short term but it could long term.
