A god that would create a people and then declare that if you don't love him he will place you in some kind of hell to suffer for all eternity does not seem to be all loving. Sounds more like an ego problem to me.

Yes, Mumbo Jumbo loves all people, his special creation. He puts no one over another, with one exception, his chosen people. But it is so easy to be saved in the end of days. His only commandment is that you must rub blue mud into your belly button.

All hail Robert A. Heinlein, Mumbo Jumbo's prophet. This great prophet, who even today sits on the right side of Mumbo Jumbo, and awaits the judgement day.

All hail Mumbo Jumbo, who requires you only to rub blue mud in your belly button as a condition of going to heaven. Mumbo Jumbo looks after his chosen people. And you only have to rub blue mud in your belly button once in your life to be saved.

There will be much gnashing of teeth, when the day of judgement comes, from the unbelievers who mistakenly believe that they, and not the blue bellied believers will rise to sit at God's side. Yes, the hell of unbelievers will be filled with waling and whining infidels on that great day.

God is all loving and if you sin you have to be punished. It all depends on what kind of sin you have commited and if you are sorry for sinning! When someone commits a crime, are they not punished? There are many people that don't believe in God and therefore cannot love someone that they don't believe exists. God does exist, He is like the wind, we cannot see the wind, but we know it is there!

Obviously you don't understand God and love. He is different than a parent punishing his child for not picking up his toys or coming home on time and being grounded for the weekend or having XBox taken away for a week. God is the Creator of ALL things and thus has THE right to command ALL things. And has the right to punish and reward accordingly. He loves us so much that He gave us free-will to decided for ourselves what to do instead of making us all robots and forcing us to obey. He has given us years and years of laws and warnings and signs of punishments and rewards and blessing. We have seen what happened to Israelites in the past that were blessed and given God's protection and made a great nation and lands and kingdoms. God gave Israelites the promised land and manna from Heaven and water from rock and took them from slavery. God protected His people from many wars and from many pharoahs and kings. As long as they obeyed. But when they disobeyed, He took their land and gave it to their enemy. He took their herds and cattle and gave them to their enemy. Some of the died. This has happened in the Bible countless of times and has been happening ever since throughout history. Just read all the other history books. God gave us His word, His laws, His commandments. He made it clear as to why we are to obey them. He made it clear as to what will happen if we obey and what will happen if we don't. He doesn't have an ego problem. It's the people that refuse to listen to the Truth that have the ego problem because they think they are better than God and that they think that their way is better for them than God's way is. For some reason they think a human's way (an evolved ape) is better than God's way (a Supreme Being, Creator, Almighty, Intelligent Being, Supernatural Force, Diety, Entity,...).

When a human being has children, they lay down the rules and reward or punish their children. Problem nowadays is that many parents don't follow through with either. God follows through with all of His promises. You don't seem to like that. That's your problem then, not His.

I have no gods. The ones that people believe exist all seem like spoiled antisocial brats.

It's amazing that people will say their god is all loving while waving a book that outlines how the god called for ethnic cleansing and killing of babies.

My God loves everyone equally. He does not punish those who do not love Him, any more than a man (if he were a gentleman) would beat the crap out of a woman who did not return his affections.

You need to be more specific...only certain religions believe such a thing.

God is all loving and there is no eternal hell.

Not always; sometimes things really piss me off or make me apathetic, and not everything deserves to be loved, sorry.

Agreed. "Mainstream Christianity" has a pretty warped understanding of God.
