Has anybody got any suggestions for a good night out. We are wanting to organise a nights entertainment for 50 - 100 adults and want some good ideas. Not pubs, meals or clubs but more along the lines of a race night, a casino night, 70's night, etc. Something that's a bit of fun. Any ideas??

You seem to be on the right idea already but I hope these might help a bit more.
Dog Racing Track
Horse Racing Track (excuse for women to buy a hat)
Casino Night (either at a casino, or hire a hall and there are a lot of companys that will do everything else)(Tux for the men and ball gown for the ladies)
Karoke Singing
Fancy Dress Party (themed)
Combined Karoke/Fancy Dress Theme
Mass Murder Mystery Party (Once again online company can do this at a country mansion etc.)
Bingo
Its a knock out style party (Inflatable suits and silly stunts)
Adventure night (bunjee jumps, go-karting, climbling wall, fair ground rides)

Hi a night out at the dog races is fun, it sounds a bit dry to begin with but once everyone has a few drinks and puts a few small bets down it gets fun

Hire a hall for a karoake night and make it fancy dress. make sure that everyone sings and do prizes for best and worst act.
To make it more fun do a hip-hop karoake, middle aged people rapping while drunk will be hilarious.
