Ask a few of her friends over for a surpise party! You could have pizza, a few crafts (making beaded jewelry is fun), music, and games. It could be a sleepover too. Ask her friends to bring their favorite game to play. Also, rent a movie for them to watch when going to bed. If she's not into surprises, then spend the day with her doing her favorite things (shopping, bowling, ice skating, movies, concert or game). Great kid, have fun!

How about a $50 gift card to the mall, along with a day there with you. Have lunch, get haircuts, but a new outfit. She could bring a friend. Follow up with a movie or something. The 9 year olds I know love clothes, and if she doesn't want any thing, then a fun day might be the ticket.

How about a vacation! That child's been working hard. haha.

Seriously - if she doesn't want anything for her birthday how about just making the day special for her and DO something with her instead of buying her something. I don't remember a single gift I received as a kid but I remember every family trip or activity I did with my Mom. Time shared is what memories are made of.

Well, is she a clothes kinda girl or a toy kinda girl? And which did she get the most of for Christmas? If she got alot of clothes for Christmas how about centering around some sort of toy, or maybe a bike or a MP3 player. Or maybe if she got those kinda things for Christmas i would go with clothes for her.

Aww, that;s so sweet.
How about some books from barnes and noble if she likes to read. my daughter is 10 and is really into the Warriors series.
Or how about a webkinz...they are interactive stuffed animals, you buy one get a code and they have a website on it. It is really really cute...go to webkinz.com where to find them .
Or a big basket of art/craft supplies..

go to a beauty salon and let her and a friend have a makeover, hair, nails, pedicure and a little make up. Then take them to lunch at a place they like maybe a movie after.

Maybe a day out just you and her to go shopping, get hair done, manicures and pedicures for both of you together. It'll be lots of fun for both of you! Maybe after you and her have your special day, you can invite her closest friends for a slumber party. Enjoy, and have fun!!!
