Two different methods:

1) When creating a sheet for yourself, I use . This gives you a pop up window, type in cell you want and press .

2) When you want a USER of your sheet to through only cells you want them to enter data into use this method. Select cell(s) you want user to be able to access. Click format, cells, choose Protection, uncheck the "Locked" box.

Then turn on protection. Click Tools, Protection, protect sheet.

Now when you use the key the cursor jumps only to the unlocked cells.

Hope this helps!
