i would wait till they are older to allow them to ride. give it a few years. The wagon idea sounds great. i hope they have one.

Stick with a short pony ride, or go for the wagon, if available. Your 2 year-old will enjoy just being at the barn and seeing all the animals. Be sure he/she holds your hand continually around the barn!

I grew up with horses. They can be very unpredictable. And if you are an inexperienced rider to boot, then that is a recipe for disaster. Don't hold the child in your lap. Go with finding out about the wagon.

The best thing to do if you want to take your child is tell the stable guy you need a very gentle horse so you can ride your child with you. They know the horses well and will pick out a safe one for you. ride him by yourself for a minute to make sure and then take the child out with you. let them pet the horse first and make sure they are not scared of it. Horse riding is like bike riding once you learnd you dont forget

I think its fine. As long as your holding her on and the pony is small. My friends little brother was riding a pony all by himself by the time he was 2. Just make sure the pony is bombproof.
Have Funn!

I don't think I would let my 2 year old go on. 2 is too young to remember anyway, I would consider a 4 year old to go, at that age they might appreciate it more.
what if you little one gets scared or cry's and rattles the horse.....
Yes I can see why you would be apprehensive....

Don't be such a wuss, your baby will feel left out and miss great memories. Or she could die too I guess.
