Given the choice, would you shoot on a Canon GL2 or a Panasonic AG-DVX100B and why?

I am a producer, getting ready to buy equipment, and it was suggested to use the Panasonic vs. the Canon. I am looking for some info from a pro/semi-pro.

I will take a Canon anytime over a panasonic.
