well.. I had the same problem , the solution is easy, eat before u go to sleep, something contains sugar,, preferable a slow releaser of glucose , like apple,,,, most of us wake up hungry in the middle of the night ,as our sugar (glucose) level drops in our blood, (esp. if u do sport or effort before u go to sleep)

Try and hold out until breakfast by telling yourself what a yummy healthy breakfast you are going to have in the morning. Then when you wake up your cravings will be different and more appropriate to the morning - ie less snacky.
Also have a glass of water by your bed, because you could be thirsty - but your body thinks you're hungry, and then go back to sleep.

Eat breakfast and eat more during the day. This will help. Also make sure your blood sugar levels are stable. Snack on fruits like apples or whatever.

LOL. I can surely relate. If I have left over pizza in the fridge from supper, I am consumed at 3AM to get up and snack on it. My BR is on the second floor, so it is an effort to walk down the stairs to get a piece of it, but I do. Don't know of a solution for you, so guess just enjoy.
