Actually, I thought it was women who had to treat men this way.
Like it or lump it, there's some truth to this concept - although I wouldn't go so far as to endorse out-and-out MEANNESS. It's human nature to confer less value on something (a relationship) or someone that seems easy to acquire or maintain. In other words, make things totally easy for a guy or a girl, and they'll soon start taking you for granted. Period. Is it fair? No. Is it unfortunate? Yes. But is it a fact of human nature? IMO, it is.
Keep somebody on their toes a little bit, and they'll value the prize (you) a little more.

Guys actually do believe in this. Theyre a bunch of players and think if they msg none stop and stop out of the blue, or give hints to you that theres another girl on the scene (competition), it somehow triggers some thing in a chick an makes her want the guy more. its stupid really but it seems to work!!

It's not a good feeling to be ignored. If you're a guy- You don't know how painful it is to be ignored by the guy you love. If you're a girl- Don't play hard to get too much he might lose interest.

NO no at all!!!! That being said you dont have to play hard to get, "keep him guessing", or leave him wanting more either..the world would be a much better and less stressful place if Cosmo wasn't giving bull s**t advice like what you just asked

You don't have to treat anyone anyways except how you would expect to be treated, you get what you put in to it.
