hi im new to scotland and lots of people are telling me that celtic are the best team in the world(even better than european teams and man u) is this true?

i'll help you on this, if you go to the records for the scottish league and for the cups you will find that if fact the best team in scotland is Rangers, and you can then check every league in the world and you will also find that Rangers have won more domestic trophies than any other team, thus making them the most succesful team in the world

They are top of the league at the moment, only because the Mighty Gers put a Tim in charge, won't happen again, hopefully.
They are never better than Man U, Barca, Real, Juve and a host of other European teams. They might have a bigger fan base, but that doesn't make them better.
Anyway, every fan thinks that their team is the best in the world or they wouldn't support them.

Because Celtic Football Club has strong Irish roots, and many supporters are actually Irish.

Well lets see the best team in scotland by far with 17 points clear of at the top of the league and in the last 16 of europe. So sharon what do you think? If that does'nt tell you why don't you buy a ticket for ibrox go and see the huns in action, them buy a ticket to see Celtic at paradise then make your own mind up. Because you'll just get fans telling you there team in great.

Celtic? Best fans in the world? Shootings in Amsterdam before Ajax match (at each other!); plane diverted to Cardiff on return trip from Vigo due to unacceptable behaviour; battles in Valencia (again, amongst themselves); appalling behaviour when Porto were lifting the UEFA cup; the Ramblas in Barcelona turned into a river of piss; incapable of supporting Scotland when Scotland played the Republic of Ireland; flying the Irish tricolour higher than the Scottish flag at their stadium; a general lack of Scotland flags at matches (even Rangers manage a few)...Shall I continue?

They are the best in Scotland, and once upon a time (the 50s) they were the best in europe. But no, they're not the best in the world. There is a big issue with their fans though, becuase they have some of the most dedicated fans in the world, but this is mainly because of the religious conflict in Scotland and Ireland, Catholics are supposed to support Celtic, and Protestants are supposed to support Rangers. This can lead to some really nasty riots in what is essentially a holy war.

what you mean is your newly out of cornton vale ,but any way man u must be, results don,t lie, best in scotland, despite what your vile mates have wrote well quite frankly by a very long way,so keep taking the tablets for a severe case of team envy and enjoy watching pish for the rest of the season.
