Why wouldn't you believe in a God? Especially the current Christian one. You get the comfort of "knowing" that everything is happening according to a great plan. If something bad happens, you can take solace in the "fact" that the big guy loves you and wants the best for you. You can't understand its omnipotent genius, but it doesn't matter, it will take care of you. When someone you love dies, they aren't really gone. You miss them, but you'll get to see them again.
If you beat the brainwashing you've been exposed to all your life and admit you don't believe, what happens? Your parents cry. Your friends offer to pray for you. People you don't even know, genuinely feel sad that your soul is lost. You've let everyone down. Finding a spouse is much harder. People get nervous when you're near their kids. What would you do when the believers want to pray before a meal?
How depressing would it be be think that your whole existence is right in front of you? Would it be worth going on another day if the universe didn't have a special purpose? Why try to help strangers, by answering questions? Why get out of bed?

There are those who will wrongly say that they were raised that way, well not in this case, my parents were not religious or spiritual or anything like that, they taught me nothing really.
I came to know God early in life, about 10 I think, actually, it was God who drew me to him.
Jhn 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Since then all things changed, I know now what is going on, I see the lies and the deceptions that Satan has done to this world, the satanic influence on those who perpetuate the lie of evolution, and secularism.
I have gone through much since then, and have seen much, and every thing that I have gone through just further convinces me that God is real, this much is evident by the attacks against Christianity and even the belief in God. I can go on, but the point is clear, God exist's I know it to be an absolute fact, and no one or nothing can change that or stop me.
They ate going to have to kill me to silence me.

There may be evolutionary reasons for this common and strong characteristic of human psychology. Dean Hamer's book "The God Gene: How Faith Is Hard-wired Into Our Genes" received a lot of attention, and is a so-so book.
The title is an attention grabber, but it certainly is not a matter of a single gene, but rather a more complex genetic basis affecting brain-bio-chemistry and human physiology, as well as psychology.
The human brain functions to impose structure on the world and to identify an learn complex patterns of behavior (language being the first and most critical, beginning immediately after birth).
Nothing creates stress and fear in people more than the unknown, and so spiritual explanations may have evolved so people would think that they understood the universe even when they did not (before a sufficient body of scientific knowledge was available). There are also social aspects of religiosity which also may have conferred a survival advantage.

That simply is untrue, science and scientists are not moving in that direction. Do you really not know better or are you being dishonest on purpose?

That may be the case for the weak-minded and psycologically fearful, but people should not have to be stuck in such ignorance.

because where you spend eternity is very serious, I mean every single one of us are going to die a human death, so why not turn your eternal life over to God, if you wrong about it then fine but if your dead and find out that God IS real then think of all the glorious things you will have for an eternity in Heaven, but if your wrong about God you wont even get a chance to the truth after your dead... just think about it like that..

I was lucky to be born into a Christian family. I believed from my childhood but then I walked away from it.
But Jesus knocked my heart's door. I started to have hunger for His Word. I joined to a wonderful church where the Bible is the center of teaching and they lead people o a life changing connection to God. It is a relationship type of thing. I love my Lord, but that path is not easy. It is very simple though. I have Holy Spirit guiding me, and helping me to understand what God wants me to do. I do a lot of things of my own, and it NEVER gives me the satisfaction the way God feeds my needs.
I believe tha the Bible is true. And I want to be with Him forever.

FIRST DO U THINK THIS WORLD IS MADE BY ANY OF US. NO, IF U THINK BUT I DON'T THINK BECAUSE THIS BEAUTIFUL WORLD IN WHICH WE HAVE DIFFERENT SEASONS,LAKES, RIVERS, SEAS,MOUNTAINS, WE LIVING THINGS, ANIMALS, BIRDS,FLOWERS,AND SO ON. I CANT WRITE HERE BECAUSE IF I START WRITING ABOUT ALL CREATIONS THIS PAGE WILL BE SMALL FOR MY ANSWER. SO WE BELIEVE ON GOD WHICH HAS CREATED US AND OUR SURROUNDINGS. FOR XAMPLE CAN U CREATE A HUMAN BEING. HUMANS TRIED BUT THEY CAN'T CREATE A HEART BEATING PERSON, THINKING ABILITY,ETC. THEY TRIED BUT FAIL AND CREATED ROBOTS BUT U SEE THEY DONT HAVE THINKING ABILITY, CAN WALK,CAN DO WORK BUT THEIR WILL BE AN HOUR WHEN THEY STOP WORKING BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE MORE ENERGY. WE WILL CHARGE THEM AFTER WHICH THEY START WORKING BUT A HUMAN BEING DO WORK DAY AND NIGHT. AS U HAD ASKED THIS QUESTION AND I HAVE TO ANSWER IT SO I WILL ADVISE U TO READ (A HOLY BOOK OF MUSLIMS "QURAN") WHICH WILL GUIDE U TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT PATH.
THANK U

I think that we humans know that everything is where it is for a reason. We just try to explain who created everything, why things happen and why we are here. That's why we believe in a Supreme Being (be it Buddha, God, Allah, and many others)

There's a god in everybody.
In every single person's heart, there's a god, who shows him the way, who comforts the person, and whatsoever. The god to them makes them feel safe. It doesn't have to be jesus.

Once one overcomes ignorance and cowardice, and experiences their spirit for themselves. Seeing things pop in and out of thin air. Travelling through space and time. It becomes very easy to believe in a God!
