I have read the quran and the bible both. The bible shows us a God of holyness and a God who is loving and mercyful. The bible unlike the quran has 66 different books and many authors. Each a person of renown, a known prophet or a know prophet. Who fortold exact things to come and worked many mericals which were witnessed by many. The Son of God did more mericals then all the apostles and all the prophets of God.
When reading the quran i find it to be exactly 100 percent wrong it declares all the prophets a lier and Muhammud as the truth. The problem with Muhammud is that he does not point to holyness before God. He actually promotes unholyness before God. He promotes sin as holyness before God. He promotes lust over holyness, he promotes hate over love, he promotes living a life in search of the fulfillement of the pleasures of the heart. Every bit of his thinking is twisted in the reguard to holyness before a wrathful God.

Jesus who know one will denounce as being from God. Said return no evil for evil. Muhammad said in effect kill every one. Jesus said I am he who knows the father and who came from the father and on one has seen the Father execpt me. Muhammud said live to your lust and you will be rewarded.
Jesus said unless you are born again you shall not enter into the kinfdom of God.
If you lusted yesterday and you are still in lust you have not changed. And you are not born again in Christ.
Christ came to show us the way to Father that is him. He is the way to the father. And Jesus said no one comes to the father other then by me. Take up my cross and follow me. He means walk in holyness as i do.

So if you seek holyness you indeed will find God is holy and he demands holyness. But holyness is not lusting after sex it is lusting after the heart of God. And seeking to please God and seeking to live right with him. In rightiousness. That means in right standing. That can only be done in a relationship with his son who provides our rightiousness.

When you read that bible you need to understand at times you are seeing God the father correcting his children, At other times you are seeking God the father defending his children. And at other times you are seeing God the son walking with and teaching his children.
Just like you see a father or mother get ticked off at people for attacking there child, and they will sometimes even destory those attacking people. God will not suffer his children to be attacked to long. Like i said he is a FATHER. God gave us his nature in some reguards.

You are exactly right. I read so of the answers, and THEY do not know the facts. . . . . the fact is SCIENCE has PROVEN the flood happened! AND MANY OTHER EVENTS IN THE BIBLE ARE RECORDED IN SECULAR HISTORY.
But I understand thier gods don't premote learning the TRUTH, but seek to blind thier eyes!

The prophets are not liers, they said what the quran said, it's people who lied and told things that are different than what the prophets have said.

I wonder; which Quran were you reading? I can quote you soooo many passages in the Holy Bible which talk about incest, deceit, genocide, trickery, pedophilia, prophets and holy men doing dubious stuff, discrepancies, virgin-finger-checks etc etc but I choose not to.
Because there are still many other verses spoken by holy figures that I too revere; like Jesus and Moses and David etc. If we want to discuss the differences and let our bigotry rule the day without deep mutual understanding, we will never achieve our peace.

you read Quran but you misunderstand the contents...... don't you know that you read the bible written by the human and the real bible was actually from ALLAH and jesus was not God but prophet...if you can find out that the real always be the winner...then you just have to wait...then you will see the truth on your own... just don't used the minor and insecure judgementon something that you don't even know what exactly it is.....

For some one that says they belive in the Prophets they hardly if EVER give praise to Jesus or Moses. They instead give praise to a Muhammud who was ONLY a messager and not a Prophet.
If Muhammud said go jump off a cliff and he will give you 72 virgins all the Muslims would do it. But if Jesus commanded to preach about his kingdom then they will sit in the hands and do nothing.

You bash the quran, and claim that your god's qualities are "holyness" [sic], love and mercy. How holy, loving and merciful is a god who commits genocide with a flood and unleashes plagues upon Egypt? Read the Bible again, I think you missed a few spots.

Personally i agree with you - after reading the quran my thoughts were 'what the hell?'... any religion that becomes the worlds most prominent religion through force cant be too good. most of the worlds war at the moment is due to islamic fundamentalism too.

If I join islam, do i become a paedophile? I do not want to be a paedophile but if i follow that murderer, I believe that what is in his life will flow down to his followers.
If I follow Jesus I will be lead into Holiness. If I follow Jesus, he will redeem my life and make it brand new.
