The wedding is casual, modern and elegant. The colors of the dress berry with ivory sash in tea length. It is in summer. A shawl is optional in berry. My bridesmaid are from 5'2 to 5'6" and run from thin to average. (p.s it is very reasonably priced for my bridesmaids)
The bride will be wearing a chiffon, straight a-line (no puff) chapel length dress in Ivory. Wedding colors ivory and dark reds....
Thank you.

Thanks for your opinions everyone. I agree about adding the shawl. I have requested that everyone wear one while in the Cathedral. None of my bridesmaids are big, the "heaviest" is a size 10/12 and none are top heavy. (I don't consider a 10/12 heavy by the way, just didn't know how to put it.) Thank you for the color suggestion. Yeah, we are staying away from true reds, and are more using off reds and a variety of reds, so as to avoid the Christmas look. We are also having the reception at a place with a lot of blue... so we are toning down the red in order to avoid the "red, white and blue" look! I hope my bridesmaids feel sexy and good about themselves and that men will look at them! I would love it if they found someone at my wedding. As long as my husbands eyes are only on me! :) Thank you so much for all your responses. Cheers.

All i have to say is that if it makes you happy and you like it...go for it! I personaly love the dress and thats because i got my bridesmaid bresses from the same exact people. Im getting married in June. The only difference is that i wanted my girls to have long dresses. Heres the link...

My colors are Honeydew with a black sash and im so inlove with the look so i say go with your heart and do as you please because the dress is beautiful and its YOUR day! Not to mention how great the prices are. We only paid $150 for each and its well worth it!! Good luck!!

Its nice BUT I would make it the same length. As the old saying going the bridesmaids are not supposed to look nicer than the bride. The bridesmaid will be showing off leg and that is a no no. It takes the attention(especially from the men) off of you. Congrats and Good luck!!!

make positive you consider your bridesmaid's body varieties. i understand it is your day and all, yet they're going to be happier in the journey that they seem sturdy. On that topic, if any of you bridesmaids are not very completely chested, the first and extremely last clothing will in nice condition strange/seem strange on them. a million. i love the back element lots. the front looks slightly undeniable, yet you're the only which the interest should be on besides. :D 2. i love this one. adequate element on both the front a back, yet no longer an overdose. i'm no longer a huge fan of the sparkly straps, besides the undeniable fact that it truly is only no longer my form. 3. This ones fantastic too. no longer some thing quite particular, yet nonetheless fantastic. i love the lace up back. a number of your brides maid might want to experience slightly uncomfortable showing that a lot (relies upon on their personalities), inspite of if their is straps. 4.jogs my memory a tremendous type of the first one, yet i love the back on the first one extra useful. For colors, does your wedding ceremony have any subject colors? i does no longer yet them in white for obvious motives. Black looks slightly darkish and/or formal for an out of doors weddings (they have an inclination to experience slightly extra comfortable, inspite of if the garments continues to be formal). in case you opt for a lengthy gown, i'd stay faraway from quite mild colors (Like diminished yellow), because it would want to get dirty being outdoors, yet i do not understand. besides, without understanding different colors in the marriage, it truly is type of puzzling to help with colors. only %. what you imagine looks sturdy at the same time and can want to seem sturdy on the bridesmaids.

It is very pretty and can be worn again by your attendants. The only question is the shawl, ivory? I would go with berry instead, it would break up the dress to much I think.

I think the dress itself is really pretty and would be great for a summer wedding, really flowy! It has good clean lines that I think will be flattering on most anyone, plus as you said, its inexpensive so thats a plus! I dunno how I feel about the red and ivory- almost seems christmasy to me, and almost 2 popular right now, maybe you could add some punches of purple and yellow, maybe even some green in youre bouquets and arrangements........but its your wedding and if thats what you want then go for it! congrats!

If it looks good on the bridesmaids, go for it. It's a pretty dress, with the added bonus that they could probably wear it at other occasions later. Nice.

It's very nice of younger bridesmaids- but if I picked something like that my friends would have a stroke. Also consider your bridesmaids sizes- a large size like a 16 won't look in such a little dresses. Like I have my bra size is a D and those straps won't last an hour on me. But if your bridesmaids are small then they will look very cute.

It's okay, as long as they cover up with the shawl for the ceremony; otherwise it's too bare.

i love it! very cute. and it is casual enough so they can wear it again. that is always my biggest issue with bridesmaid dresses - you spend so much money on a gorgeous gown that you will never wear again.
