A person who loves God and came from a nice "cumfy" home with good Christian values and lots of comforts, or a person who comes from a broken family and is beaten and abused, never raised with any kind of values and despises God because of all of that. I am not saying I am that. I have it kinda average in life. I am just curious as to how you feel.

Everyone has an equal chance to get into Heaven. We are all the same, SINNERS. All sins are equal in God's eyes so it doesn't matter if your in a cumfy home or a broken home. We are told in Romans 3:10 "...There is none righteous, no not one", and Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and, and come short of the Glory of God." So all of us are the same just sinners.

1. It depends if the guy is really sorry. If he's really sincere then God could forgive Him. Have you not sinned? 2. You're using a genetic fallacy. But I think God judges according to conscience, if someone doesn't know about Jesus and dies, then I think God would forgive "Out of the approximately seven billion people on Earth, approximately two billion worship Jesus and the Christian God. Does that mean that 5 out of every 7 of god's children are destined to suffer for eternity in hell?" I don't know, if they haven't heard about Jesus. But I know, not all Christians will get to heaven. Faith needs to be justified by works. Christians need to "walk the talk" as it goes and fulfill the law with love. Hope that helps, shalom

Anyone who believes in God & Jesus Christ & leads a good life & asks forgiveness for their sins will go to heaven regardless of financial class.

The abused individual who is raised in a broken home must also lead a good life & ask forgiveness for their sins. In your example, that person believes in God.

Many individuals who come from this type of environment go on to lead good Christian lives in spite of their upbringing. They know the difference between good & evil & don't believe that the way in which they were raised justifies leading a life of bitterness and/or crime. I know well 3 people who grew up under adverse circumstances. My brother-in-law who saw his father beat & murder his mother & two friends who suffered incest. So while I can understand someone's bitterness toward God it would not be an excuse to live a life w/o Him.

The idea of "a better chance" is nonsense. Everyone has an equal chance. Before the howls of protest start, I didn't dream this up. The apostle Paul said, "But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed... through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all who believe. For there is no differece, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."

God's grace breaks through every barrier to reach those who are being saved. Grace may be free, but it didn't come cheap. It cost Jesus his life. Yet even those who don't have faith to believe are GIVEN faith by God - they just have to ask for it! God has done everything to secure salvation. Our financial and social status have nothing to do with it! It's actually more often the case that those who get a raw deal in life turn to God, even if they may have raged against him, in their ignorance of how he deals impartially with us all.

So you want to promote the stereotype that the privileged are believers and the poor are non-believers because they were "beaten and abused, never raised with any kind of values". The majority of the eminent scientists in the United States are atheists. From what kind of background do you think they came? I don't think that either has a chance of getting into heaven, because I don't believe that it exists. And for the record, I was raised in a "cumfy" [sic] Catholic home.

The ONLY way to get into heaven is to know God. With that said ANYONE can come to know God and his greatness. I have grown up with a lot of stuff that has gone wrong in my life, and when I found Jesus my whole life seem to change. It is amazing how much he can effect your life if you just let him.

Only those found in the Book of Life and it doesn't matter what type of home life one comes from, great example is the man hanging on the cross next to Christ. His life didn't exemplified that of one bound to heaven by his own admission. Yet, Jesus told him "I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise." (Lu 23:43). Ones chance to receive Heaven is based on his/her acceptance of Christ as their Savior and not on what kind of family life or what type of home one lives in.
-----
Re 3:5
All who are victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life, but I will announce before my Father and his angels that they are mine.

Re 13:8
And all the people who belong to this world worshiped the beast. They are the ones whose names were not written in the Book of Life, which belongs to the Lamb who was killed before the world was made.
----
It would seem that those who believe in the beast are the ones that are in danger of not entering the gates of the Kingdom.
God Bless You

Heaven - (eternal life with God) is obtained by faith in Jesus. Neither situation makes much difference. Faith is a free gift from God, you must only accept it.
